Angel/Angelus
17 March 2008 @ 12:58 am
He had been a vampire for hundreds of years. Once a terrible plague upon the world, killing everything that got in his way. But one night he had made the mistake of killing a gypsy princess and was cursed with a soul. Since then Angel had no real purpose in life. Before as a blood hungry monster he knew his goal in life was to destroy everything, kill everyone. But with a soul he was just a cursed vampire moving from one city to another, uncertain of his path in life and empty inside. He was tormented by his soul until one day a demon found him in some dark alleyway catching rats for his supper. The demon offered him a chance at a new life, putting his soul to good use instead of wasting it for an eternity. So what could Angel do but agree to go with demon to Los Angeles to seek out his charge, a young girl by the name of Buffy Summers.

Immediately upon seeing her, Angel felt some kind of deep connection towards her. Back then she was so naive and in-experienced. Chosen to be a slayer, one who killed his kind. So he followed her from Los Angeles to the town of Sunnydale. There he continued to watch over her, make sure no real harm came to her, but at the same time keeping his distance, never allowing her to see him for if she discovered him she would surely drive a stake through his heart, and then who would keep her from certain death when it came time to face the Master and destroy the Hellmouth that the town was built upon ?

So the vampire with a soul made a home for himself in Sunnydale, California. Watched the slayer mature and grow stronger as each day passed by.

A normal night for Angel. He had visited the local butchers shop and had brought himself some fresh, pigs blood. Having drunken the luke, warm animals blood he then made his way to the usual spots where he might find the petite, blonde haired slayer.

First he tried the only night club in Sunnydale for teenagers. The Bronze. He stayed for a few hours, hidden in the shadows, away from the crowds waiting for her. He was about to leave and search the local cemeteries in town when he suddenly saw her enter with her friends, Willow and Xander.

Angel couldn't help but allow a small smile touch his lips as he watched her walk over to the bar to order some soft drinks. She truly was a beautiful young girl. That was obvious by the constant stares of other men around her, including one Xander Harris. It was clearly seen by all except Buffy that her friend had a huge crush on the slayer. Though Angel could never see her dating such a young man, he was too foolish and unprepared for the world, she needed somebody to take care of her, always be by her side. Besides they would and could never understand the powerful gift she contained with in her body. She was a slayer, the chosen one no less. Her powers were endless, that he had seen from constantly watching her fight and slay vampire and demon, one after the other. Buffy Summers was truly a marvelous young woman that he admired greatly, even if he was a vampire.

Making himself comfortable, Angel leaned up against one of the back walls and continued to watch her enjoy herself with her friends.

Many months had gone by since graduation night at Sunnydale High. The high school now was just a burnt out, ruin that resembled nothing of it's former self. All the graduating students that had been fortunate to survive that night had moved on with their lives including the Slayer. Buffy and her friends now attending Sunnydale University and seemed to be enjoying there new lives as young adults in the world. Angel and Buffy had worked out there differences and had made the mutual decision to remain a couple. The vampire had stayed in Sunnydale instead of moving on to a new place and a new life. Life was good and even though they lived on the Hellmouth still and dealt with the usual amount of evil, things were actually looking up for the Scoobie Gang and the vampire with a soul.

That night Buffy and Angel were supposed to go on patrol in one of the many cemeteries in Sunnydale. It had been something Angel had been looking forward to all week, spending some alone time with the woman he loved. Lately he hadn't been able to see much of the blonde Slayer as she had become quite busy with her new university style life as well as all of the assignments and homework that came with that new life and new classes. Unfortunately when Angel met up with his girlfriend that night he had been some what disappointed to see the familiar face of Willow following closely behind Buffy. Apparently Buffy had a big exam the next day and Willow had offered to help her prepare for the examine while she was on patrol that night.

Faking a smile, Angel greeted Willow and lied to Buffy when he said he didn't mind that they would not be spending the night alone together. With a quick kiss and an apologetic look from Willow, Angel decided to go home and read for the rest of the night leaving his beloved to study with her dear friend.

As the vampire made his way through the cemetery, almost reaching the entrance out he heard Willow scream and the sound of Buffy struggling in a fight. Before he had a chance to turn and run to their aid something or somebody suddenly slammed hard into his chest.

At first Angel was ready to vamp all out and attack whatever had collided with him but as he looked down he saw a young adult male standing before him. Immediately the vampire noticed how attractive this male stranger was, he was so beautiful that Angel could not help but stare. It had seemed like time had stopped completely and him and this stranger were in a different world of their own until he heard Willow scream again only louder this time.

"It's not safe for you to be here. Return to your home now !". Angel gruffly told Chris as he quickly turned and ran away to help Willow and Buffy.

Angelus hadn't expected Faith and Wesley to show up unannounced as they did but it didn't matter one bit to him, of course at first he was caught off guard by their sudden appearance but that soon faded away as he dealt with the Englishman then directed his attention on Faith. If there was one thing that slayers all had in common was that they all thought they were invincible and that nothing could ever defeat them if they fought hard enough to fight the powers of evil, blah, blah, blah ... It was bad enough Buffy had thought that way let alone Faith, he thought she was different from his ex-lover back in Sunnydale but obviously he had guessed wrong.

They fought and Angelus enjoyed every punch and kick she threw at him. She probably thought she was winning until he caught her in his grasp and held her captive, unable to move as he tightened his grip on her. The more she struggled the more he enjoyed the moment as he gave a little speech before sinking his sharp fangs deep into her neck.

Her blood tasted so sweet that he was almost tempted to drain her dry, but instead he restrained himself for the time being as he had other plans for the rebel slayer. Leaving Wesley to wake up and find his precious slayer gone, Angelus took Faith with him, far away from the others were nobody would find them or disturb them for that matter.

Laying her down on the bed, making sure to chain her down securely so she wouldn't be able to do anything she would regret he watched her unconscious body for awhile before getting bored. Deciding a bite to eat was in order so Faith would not tempt him with her delicious blood he left to dine on some unsuspecting prey.

Just as he had returned he was quite pleased to hear the sound of Faith calling out for her pathetic watcher. With a smile upon his angelic face he walked into the dark room.

"I'm afraid dear old Wesley is busy at the moment, but if you leave a message I'm sure he will get back to you at your funeral." Angelus told the brunette slayer as he walked over to the bed, sitting down beside her he turned on a lamp on a nightstand near the bed, the light removing some of the darkness in the room just so Faith could see the predicament she was in.

"I'm pleased to see you have finally woken up. For a while there I wasn't sure if you would wake at all." He told her as he licked his finger and placed in on her neck where he had bitten her. Gently he wiped the dried blood away. "Don't worry it won't leave much of a mark what with you being a slayer and all with those wonderful healing qualities you girls tend to have. Why a guy like me could beat on you all night long and by morning you wouldn't have a mark on you to show my wonderful handiwork. Disappointing really but I'm sure we can get around that somehow or another." Angelus told her with a grin as he lifted his feet up and laid down beside her with his hands comfortably behind his head.

"So Faithy, how do you like your new home ? Not much to look at but then again I've never been a decorating kind of man myself. At least now we have a quite place together where no one will come looking for you. Why imagine all the fun things we can do together." He told her turning to look at her face and waiting to see the fear in her eyes as it dawned on her that she wasn't going anywhere unless Angelus wanted her to. She was stuck with the psychotic vampire until he either got bored of her and killed her or decided to turn her and unleash her upon all of Angel's dear little friends, either way both sounded good to him.

Fear is just another word for not understanding, not knowing what is to come next, knowing that no matter what you do you can't stop it from happening. As I watch her from a far but close I know that fear runs throughout her entire body, that sweet, firm young body that he yearned for so much to play with. Her whole life as a slayer she would never know what was coming next and that's what frightened her the most, if she would be alive still by the end of the day, always having to protect her friends and family from harm. It was quite amusing to watch, but the thing that amused him the most was that she was more frightened of him then anything else she had ever faced before. He was unpredictable, deadly yet alluring, she hated him, fought him yet she still yearned for her old lover that was no more in the body of the man she once knew as Angel. Now he was long gone, dead and Angelus would make sure that poor, pathetic soul would never come into this body again.

Buffy Summers was an easy prey to play on, while she still thought that she could bring him back to the side of good, the more power he had over her to continuing playing with her mind, body and soul. The dark figure stood out in the yard watching her prepare for bed, without her even knowing he was there, he smiled to himself as he continued to watch her, "Soon Buffy soon", he said to himself as he stuck his hands in his coat pocket and walked off into the night.

The lone vampire sat upon his throne as he stared into nothing but darkness. Time was growing short, Buffy Summers was about to become eighteen years of age and soon would be queen of the entire vampire civilization and yet he had still been able to discover who her mate would be for all eternity. If he could not be that mate, her husband, lover and king then he would not allow anyone else to take away what rightfully belonged to him. He was one of the most powerful vampires in the land and he would be damned if someone else got the chance to rule the vampire race with the young queen. She was so inexperienced, innocent that it would be so easy to manipulate her to do his own bidding. Yes she would be his, Angelus was going to make very sure of that. Already his men were in place, prepared and ready at his command. When the ceremony took place in a weeks time he would either by her side as her equal or perhaps superior or he would steal her away and take her back to his home where he would bond with her so she had to except him as her chosen no matter what.

Amazing how he had yet to met the young woman in question and yet he had already made her his in his mind. No woman could resist his handsome looks and devilish, bad boy attitude. If she resisted being with him he would soon have her eating out of his hand and purring in no time. Just thinking about how he would tame the vixen he smiled, lost in his thoughts until the doors to the grand hall where opened allowing some light to enter his comfortable darkness.

"This better be good." He said to the lone figure as it approached him. The blonde vampire kneeled before his sire and master before risking a glance up at the other vampire known for having a very short temper as well as not having a hell of a lot of patience.

"I come with news. Her guardian and elder Rupert Giles as moved the ceremony ahead of schedule. He has discovered your plans and shall commence with the sacred ritual tomorrow night."

"WHAT !" Yelled Angelus as he jumped from his throne chair and grabbed Spike by the throat and lifted him off the ground. How Spike hated to be the bearer of bad news.

"That son of a bitch ! I knew I should of killed him long ago." He snarled at his childe before throwing him to the ground as he began to pace the room.

"What shall we do my lord ?" The frightened blonde inquired while mindful to stay a good distance away from Angelus in the current mood he was in.

"If he wants to play games then we shall play along too. Get my servants to pack my bags, we are going on a trip." With a smug grin he disappeared out of the doorway to work on this new game he would be playing with Giles and Buffy.

~~~~~~
The rest of the day Angelus did not rest well. As he napped for his journey that night he dreamed of things that had never entered his dreams before. A beautiful, blonde woman beckoned to him, calling his name sweetly, tempting him and luring him to her. He could not resist or refuse her, she was so intoxicating to him and once he held her in his arms he knew he would never be able to let go of her.
Angelus woke in a cold, blood sweat as he stared around his room half expecting her to be in his room seeing as his dream had seemed to real. Getting up finding it was late in the afternoon he showered and dressed in a black armani suit. Pleased with his appearance he left his home with Spike following closely behind him. They left for the airport where they would take his private jet to Sunnydale, California to be either apart of the ceremony or stop it from commencing all together.
~~~~~~

Rupert Giles waited patiently downstairs for Buffy to finish getting ready and meet with him so they could leave to have a nice dinner together, a sort of small, intimate celebration before the ritual the following night.

"Buffy we haven't got all night. The reservations I made were for eight, it is now nine. Please do hurry, I am sure what ever you chose to wear shall look stunning on you as always." He yelled to upstairs as his tummy grumbled as he stood hungrily waiting to eat dinner.

Angel/Angelus

He should of been asleep what with it being day time and him being a vampire but still he just couldn't get to sleep. After an hour of tossing and turning in bed he decided to work out a bit, that usually helped him settle down somewhat. Getting out of bed and walking over to the punching bag, Angel stretched his arms before hitting the bag with his fists.

So much had changed in his life lately. He had lost his friend Doyle and had gained a new friend in Wesley of all people. There wasn't a day that went by that Angel didn't think of his small Irish friend and the great sacrifice he had made to save them and the rest of the world. It should of been him that died that day but instead Doyle had insisted he should be the one to do it as he believed the vampire had a destiny to fulfill by helping those who needed his help against all the bad in the world. So he had watched with Cordelia held tightly in his arms as Doyle leapt onto that device, allowing himself to die in the most heroic way. He was a true hero and Angel would never forget him and everything he had ever done for them and the impact he had made on the vampires life. If it hadn't been for Doyle he might still not know what meaning his life had.

Finishing his work out he made his way to the kitchen and grabbed some pigs blood out of the fridge. Not bothering to warm it up in the microwave he drank it down.

Shortly after losing Doyle they had unexpectedly gained Wesley in their lives. Angel never thought he would see the watcher again after graduation day back in Sunnydale but he had been wrong. It still brought a smile to the vampires face when he thought about the ridiculous outfit Wesley had been wearing that day. Leather on the Englishman just wasn't right. But placing his lack of style aside he had helped him save Cordelia and had become apart of their small family. He was of great help because of his extensive knowledge of demons, demon languages and in truth he could really fire a loaded crossbow extremely well. In fact he handled himself quite well most times when they came up against bad guys, at least most of the time he made Angel laugh with how he reacted to some situations.

Wiping his mouth he shut the fridge door and decided to get dressed and see what Cordelia was doing.

Sweet Cordelia. She had been a spoiled bitch back in Sunnydale that was more interested in getting into his pants then learning his name. But she had changed as they all had. She was a dear friend who he depended on a lot though he wouldn't admit that to her ever. How he wished she had not been giving those visions by Doyle. He was sure the Irishman was just trying to be helpful but instead he had placed a curse upon poor Cordelia. Every time she received a vision it would make the vampires heart ache to see her suffer so. It also made him feel guilty to know she went through all that pain just so she pass on messages to him from The Powers That Be. There was not a day that went by that Angel didn't wish he could take those visions away from her and place that burden on himself instead of her having to deal with it.

Deciding to take the elevator upstairs he leaned against the metal cage as he heard voices in the office.

Wesley and Cordelia.

Getting out of the lift he walked into the small office space and walked over to Cordelia's desk noting the fresh smell of coffee in the air.

"Any calls this morning ?" He asked Cordelia as he smiled politely at Wesley and grabbed a folder off the desk, opening it to give him something to do so he didn't look so out place with the two humans. Sometimes the vampire felt like the third wheel, he loved to be around them and listen to their conversations but he had little to contribute himself because he had never been one to socialize. Of course when he met Buffy she had dragged him into her world of going out and hanging with her friends but he had never felt right finding he really didn't have anything in common with her friends seeing as he was over two hundred years old and they were just teenagers.

"Is that the mail ?" Angel said to Wesley as he wondered if there was anything interesting there for him instead of the usual bills he got all the time.

Once upon a time there lived a beast cursed with a soul. Locked away in his large castle he lived a lonely life until one day a handsome prince charming came into his life. At first the beast rejected any kindness offered by the prince but as the years passed by the beast came to admire and care for the handsome prince. Soon they fell in love with each other and from there on they lived happily ever after in the large castle with their family and friends and the beast was never lonely again. For you see the beast no longer felt cursed with his soul as his heart had been open up to the beauty of life and all it had to offer.

Angel smiled staring down at his infant son laying in his crib, his eyes wide and a dimple in his cheeks as the baby smiled listening to his fathers bedtime story. "You liked that story didn't ya little fella." The vampire cooed over his son as he leant down and placed a tender and gentle kiss on the baby's forehead, making sure his son was comfortable in his bed the
vampire left the side of the crib and walked over to his own bed and sat down.

The story he had told his son was not just some fictional story but held some truth to it. Angel truly felt blessed with his current life, not bad considering he had once been a wicked, cruel, sadistic bastard many hundred years ago, but that had all changed. He had a soul now, he had a home, a business, friends, family and a lover. Everything was perfect and Angel could not ask for anymore because he had exactly what he wanted and needed.

Chuckling softly to himself he turned on the lamp on the bedside table and glanced down at a tattered, dusty old book his lover had given him earlier that week to read. Angel delicately picked it up, afraid it would fall apart if mistreated. Opening the book he flicked through the pages filled with information on demons known throughout the world. It made for an
interesting read and something Angel would definitely start reading once he had some time to himself. But with looking after his son, managing a business and fighting every day evil it left the vampire hardly any time to relax, of course that was unless he was with Wesley. Just being in his presence made Angel calm down, unwind and be himself. The Englishman had a soothing effect on the vampire that even Angel could not explain how or why.

Taking off his shoes he winced a little as he saw the demon goo stuck on the bottom of his nice, expensive leather shoes. "Great." He muttered to himself as he stood and made his way to the bathroom to see if he could save his shoes by washing the stuff off in the bathroom sink.

Angelus made his way upstairs in search of his prey.

Cordelia Chase and Winifred Burkle.

While the others searched the streets of Los Angeles for him he would be having his own fun feasting on Angel's two best friends. He hadn't decided yet whether he would keep them alive for awhile, torture them until they begged him to end their miserable mortal lives. Depended how much time he had before the others returned.

The vampire began to sniff out the two women when suddenly the smell of fresh blood hit his senses. It was extremely overwhelming and Angelus began to almost salivate at the mouth as he searched out the source of his desire.

As he turned the corner he saw Cordelia disappearing down the hallway holding a pair of bloody scissors. Curious he approached one of the rooms to find Fred slumped against the doorway holding her hand to her neck as her life blood flowed down her slender throat as she looked extremely close to death.

"Well, well, well. I thought I smelt something wonderful, never would have guessed it would have been you." Angelus remarked as he knelt down in front of her. Taking her hand away from the wound on her neck, the blood poured out causing a smile to the vampires face.

"No point in letting it just go to waste." He told her as his face morphed to his true demon self as he took her limp body into his arms and without anymore hesitation he sank his sharp fangs deep into the flesh.

Immediately her warm blood filled his mouth intoxicating him completely. Greedily he drank the young woman's blood as he felt her heart beat becoming faint. As he pulled his blood stained mouth away from her neck he grinned at Fred smugly as he licked his lips clean.

He wanted to end her life right there and then but staring into her almost lifeless eyes made something twinge inside the vampire. Truthfully watching her die would give him no pleasure, he would not be able to watch the others grieve for her as they found her dead body upstairs. Where would the fun be in not being entertained by such despair and sadness ? No if she died it would be meaningless and Angelus could not let his reputation for being a cruel bastard disappear because of a little thing like her untimely death. It was in that moment Angelus made a decision that was something he did not do lightly.

"I might regret this one day and no doubt this will come back to bite me in the ass. Consider yourself lucky Winifred for tonight you will become immortal never having to fear death as you do now." With that said he brought his wrist to his mouth and bit down hard into his flesh. As his blood began to flow out of the wound he had made he placed his wrist to Fred's mouth letting the blood touch her lips. "Drink." He simply commanded her as he listened carefully to their surroundings to make sure the others would not sneak up on him while he was making their friend a new childe of his.

How did he ever get himself into this predicament ? One minute he was being praised for his hero like qualities the next thing he knew he was standing over some poor, innocent young girl holding an axe in his hand as everybody cheered him on to chop her head off. Perhaps in his days as Angelus he would have gladly done what they asked but he had a soul and he wasn't about to harm some helpless human.

"I think there has been a mistake. I don't kill people." He told the crowd and they didn't look too pleased by his words and began to boo him and throw rotten food at him and the girl. How he wished he had never come to Plyea.

"You must do it Angel or else you show great disrespect for our people but allowing this cow to live." Said Lorne's cousin as he hoped Angel would show the people what a strong, fearless champion he was.

He didn't care whether or not he offended them by not killing the cow ......... human. As he looked out at the crowd he looked to Lorne for help as he knew his green demon friend did not wish to see this girl die either. So doing what he did best he began to sing making the other demons cringe and cover their ears as if his singing was killing them. He owed Lorne big time now as he used the axe to hit the other two demons on the small wooden platform. Knocking them to the ground he threw the axe away and untied the girl. Picking her up off her knees so she could stand he glanced around desperate for some way to escape before the shut Lorne up and came after him and the girl. Seeing a guard on a horse he picked the girl up into his arms and jumped off the platform. Landing on the ground he ran over to the horse, placing Fred back onto her feet again he grabbed the guard by his leg and pulled him to the ground. A quick punch to the face and he was out cold. Grabbing the girls hand he lifted her up onto the horse and hoisted himself up. With one firm kick with his heels the horse ran out of the village and far away from the angry mob.

It seemed like hours riding through the country side of Plyea in silence. When Angel was sure they were far enough away from danger he stopped the horse and got off, glancing around to make sure they were alone he lifted Fred down from the horse. As he stood staring at her he suddenly realized she was not a girl but the young woman they had come to Plyea to find and take back home.

"Winifred Burkle ?" He asked her with a kind smile. "It's alright now. I came here to find you and take you back home."

It had been a quiet day at the Hyperion, very little business as usual. That was supposed to be a good thing but Angel hated the calm that had currently swept over Los Angeles. The vampire wanted to fight, kill demons to stop the continuous pain he felt deep inside of him every day since his baby son had been taken away from him. He wanted to numb the feeling of loss inside of him and to keep busy so he did not have to always think of that day when he watched helpless as Holtz took his son into some hell dimension. Since Connor left nothing had been the same for the crew of Angel Investigations. Of course Angel had tried to get his son back, was even prepared to kill Lilah if need be but everything he did was for nothing and he was still without his son.

Finishing off some paperwork that wasn't that important he placed it in the filing cabinet and walked out of his office. Staring around looking at the old hotel, watching as his friends went about their daily lives. Angel hated the life he was living, he promised Darla he would always protect their son and he had failed her. He had failed Connor and himself. His son was lost to another world, either alive or dead the vampire would never know as he paced the lobby brooding as he did most of the time since everything went wrong in his life.

Deep in thought Angel hardly noticed the flash of blinding light until he heard his friends gasp out loud as some hideous demon appeared from no where. Reacting quickly he ran to the weapons cabinet to find Gunn already there. As he was thrown a broad sword he turned around just as another flash of light obscured their vision.

As it disappeared Angel opened his eyes slowly to see a young man standing there along side the demon. In an instant the demon fell to the floor dead. Before the stranger could even speak the vampire knew who he was. One sniff of the air surrounding them and he knew that scent, how could he forget anything to do with his son. He felt tears well up in his eyes as he stood in disbelief wondering if this was some kind of cruel dream he was having and soon he would wake up to find Connor gone once more.

Hearing him speak made him realize that this was indeed no dream as Angel looked confused as his son raised the stake launcher aiming it at his chest.

"Connor ?" He finally spoke taking a cautious step forward.

Buffy's 16th birthday was supposed to be a joyous occasion for herself and her close friends. They had all worked so hard on preparing the surprise party and keeping it a secret from her. But all their hard work had been for nothing. Vampires attacked, the Judge was assembled and then . . . well the worst happened. Angel and Buffy shared one moment of pure happiness together and Angel lost his soul and became Angelus. He once again became the creature and monster from his past life, when he destroyed most of Europe with his vampire family leaving all that survived to bury their loved ones and then fear for their lives when the sun set as the dead came back to life and lusted for their blood.

At first nobody even knew about the change in Angel. He played the saint he always had been around them all. Then when it was too late to run for their lives he showed his true self. Everything he did was skillfully planned. First he killed the Watcher in front of Buffy's eyes making sure she saw every moment of the agonizing pain her beloved Englishman suffered before he finally tore out Giles heart and handed it to the blonde haired slayer. Then came Jenny. She was easy and Angelus didn't waste much time in disposing of her but not before he thanked her ever so kindly for her people placing the curse upon in him in the first place so many years ago.

With most of his plans carried out, he took the remaining survivors escorted by vampire minions that belonged to Spike and Drusilla back to the warehouse to boast to his family of what he had done and to finish what he had started.

***

Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Sunnydale was nothing more then a shell of a town. All humans dead or turned by the vampires that over ran the hellmouth. Spike and Drusilla had decided to venture to Europe with the Judge to destroy the rest of the remaining world while Angelus stayed in Sunnydale. He had already disposed of Willow and Cordelia months ago. Viciously raping them as Xander and Buffy watched before letting the vampire minions feast upon their battered bodies. As for the slayer and her dull witted friend he had something very special planned for them both, something they would never forget in their life time or what remained of their pathetic life.

***

As Xander laid in the comfortable bed staring at the ceiling he tried to remember what his life had been like before Angelus had taken it away from him. He found it very hard to imagine himself as a nobody who was wanted by no one in the world. But now that had all changed. Laying beside his beautiful master was proof of that. A smile of delight touched his lips as he curled up against the lean muscular body of Angelus as the older vampire slept peacefully beside him. Xander could not fathom what his life would be like without his sire. Who knew that deep down inside Angel was a creature of such power and greatness.

Resting his hand upon Angelus chest, Xander stretched his own naked body out on the bed like a satisfied cat before settling comfortably beside his lover, watching him sleep for a few more hours before he himself fell into a deep slumber.

***

The feel of soft gentle lips caressing his skin awoke Xander. He smiled as he opened his eyes and saw Angelus leaning over his body, his lips inches away from his throat and the vampire nuzzling his childe.

"Did you sleep well ?" Angelus asked as he continued to lick and stroke Xanders throat with his tongue which stirred the younger vampires cock awake.

"Mmmmm very much so." He replied as he leaned closer into his masters touch. His body already needing to feel, to touch and taste his lovers body. Of course Xander was not disappointed in that regard as he watched Angelus hand disappear underneath the bed covers and grab his growing erection possessively in his hand.

"Mine." Angelus growled in Xanders ear as he began to stroke his lovers cock firmly in his hand just the way he knew his childe liked to be touched and caressed.

Xander arched his back off the mattress and grasped the bed sheets tightly with his hands as a deep moan sounded from him. To Xander this was the most closest thing to being in heaven. His breathing began to quicken even though there was no need for him to breath any more. A habit that Xander would have to eventually grow out of with Angelus help.

The older vampire covered Xanders mouth with his own in a passionate display of affection for his new childe. The kiss shared between them was intimate, animalistic yet also loving as they devoured each others mouths with their tongues and teeth.

Angelus sliced open his tongue on one of Xanders sharp incisors. His sires blood slowly dripping into his mouth made Xanders desire for Angelus increase dramatically as the young man wrapped his arms around his masters strong body frame and pulled him close to his own body, crushing them together almost as Xander allowed the older vampires blood to be consumed into his own younger and weaker body.

The kiss between them became more heated as Angelus fastened the pace he stroked his lovers cock. He knew that Xander was close to reaching is climax but Angelus was not finished with him yet. Pulling his body away from Xander, his lips left the younger mans mouth as he trailed his tongue down his childes throat, chest, stomach until his mouth had found what it most craved for. He engulfed Xanders firm weeping cock into his mouth without any hesitation. Angelus knew what he was doing as this act had been carried out many times between himself and Xander. Sucking hard as his cold wet tongue curled around the large hardness in his mouth Angelus watched with joy as Xander withered beneath him. The young vampire crying out his name while he encouraged his master by placing his hands firmly in Angelus hair and guiding him with every movement that Angelus made with his mouth.

All too soon it was over as Angelus tasted the salty taste of Xanders cum fill his mouth. Eagerly the vampire swallowed enjoying every drop he consumed and tasted. Licking his childe clean Angelus made his way back up Xanders body and smiled wickedly as he looked upon his exhausted lover.

"No rest for the wicked Xander for I have only just began."

***

Hours later Angelus and Xander lay in each others arms. Both exhausted from their love making. Xander gently placed feather light kisses upon his sires blood sweat chest as he rested in the comfort of his lovers arms.

"You are my life Angelus. My world would be incomplete without you." Xander truthfully whispered to his master as Angelus looked upon him and smiled lightly.

"I know childe, I know. You are my greatest accomplishment during my immortal life. In time you will become a fine vampire who shall be feared and admired by all. But until that time comes you need your rest as do I." Placing a soft loving kiss to Xanders forehead Angelus turned over in bed and soon was fast asleep.

Xander stayed awake a little longer. Thinking of the time he had spent with Angelus and remembering who he had been before that time. Years of his life wasted as a human who was friends with a slayer who killed his kind. The memory of this sickened Xander to the point of disgust. He had been so foolish to allow the slayer to brain wash his mind into thinking that all vampires, demons and a like were evil and needed to be killed. Thank the powers that be that he was eventually saved by a man he once hated and now adored.

A look of satisfaction upon his face he began to drift into slumber. His eyes slowly closing as he stared upon the mutilated and decomposing corpse of Buffy Summers, the chosen slayer as she hung nailed upon the wall before his and Angelus bed. His sire had placed her there the day he finally killed her as a reminder of who he had once been with her and how he had immensely enjoyed hearing her screams and pleas for him to stop before he finally ended her sad unfortunate life. How she would truly regret the day she met Angel and shared her life and friends with him.

The End

Angel had just received Fred's urgent phone call and immediately left to go to Wesley's apartment to help his old friend even though he had not seen or spoken to the Englishman in quite some time. Ever thing was different now since the virus had come to LA. People had been dying all over the place, he had lost nearly all of his friends to the flu outbreak. His son Connor had died first and then Cordelia. If he had a beating heart it would have been broken but there was nothing the vampire could do to save them, all he could do now was stay strong and take care of Fred as she tried her hardest to help the remaining survivors in the city.

Arriving at the apartment building he went inside and upstairs to Wesley's apartment. Finding the door slightly opened he walked in surprised to find Wesley had not revoked the vampire's invitation to his home. He would have thought trying to kill the guy in hospital by smothering him to death would have made him afraid of the vampire, *guess not* thought Angel as he walked into the lounge area as he called out Fred's name.

Finding his way into the bedroom he saw the bathroom light on, walking in he saw Wesley sitting on the toilet looking very near death. It broke Angel up inside to his friend like this. Sure the last time he had spoken to the Englishman his words had been full of hate and anger for what he had done but times had changed, the world was dying and there was no point in hating him any longer when he had lost so many of his dearest friends.

"Fred ?" He said as he looked at the young women finally noticing her in the room. "Is he ...... do you need some help ?" He asked feeling utterly useless, what was the point of being a hero when you couldn't even save the ones you loved ?

Angel/Angelus

Ever since agreeing to take over Wolfram and Hart, Angel hardly had any time to himself. Every day he had countless meetings with every kind of creature ever created that was a client of the law firm. He rarely saw his friends and spent most of his time locked away in his office dealing with paperwork. God he hated paperwork, he also hated Eve who liked to remind him constantly about what he had done to the others when he had excepted the position of CEO. How he wished she would jump out the window or go stand in front of a moving bus. The vampire missed his old life back at the Hyperion. He missed his son and he dearly missed Cordelia who was still in a coma. Sometimes he wondered why he had ever taken this path but deep down he knew why, to make a difference and change Wolfram and Hart, to fight from the inside against the evil in the world. It had sounded easy at the time but now Angel wasn't so sure it was as easy as he had thought it would be.

That afternoon he was busy as always. He had just returned from a game of racket ball and had showered and changed into a black suit when Harmony came into his office all preppy like as usual. Why Wesley ever hired her to be his secutary he would never know, maybe it was payback for trying to smoother him with a pillow that time. But how could Wesley know about that as that memory had been taken away from his mind.

"Good evening Angel, who won the match ?" She asked placing a mug of warm blood on his desk. "I did." He mumbled not looking up from the file he had been reading over and over for the last few days. "Cool. Oh by the way Buffy is waiting downstairs, she wants to talk to you, something important I guess for her to come all this way, hey maybe she wants to get back together with you." Harmony said with a bright smile.

Hearing that Buffy was waiting downstairs for him surprised Angel at first but then it went away as he had an idea as to why she had come. They already had this conversation on the phone why did she have to have the same face to face ? He wanted to go hide and say he was too busy to see her but he knew Buffy would not take no for an answer and would find him eventually. Taking a sip of his blood he got up from his chair and walked out of his office ignoring Harmony cheering him on as if he was ever going to get together with Buffy again. Yeah that would be the day, Angel thought sarcastically as he took the elevator to the first floor, mentally preparing himself for what ever the blonde slayer had to say to him.

Reaching the floor he walked out of the lift and saw her sitting in the waiting area reading a magazine, he also noticed her hands were shaking. Maybe she wasn't here for the reasons he thought she had come to LA for, maybe something bad had happened and she needed his help. Walking over to her he sat down in the empty seat beside her. "You wanted to see me ?" He said casually without looking at her.

Angel/Angelus
14 September 2006 @ 02:50 pm
He had tried so hard to start a new life in LA but he couldn't. Without her in his life he had felt like he had been dying inside little by little. Angel knew that it was better that he had left when he did, now Buffy could have a normal life and find somebody who could make her happy, have children with her and grow older with her. All of the things he could not give her. But even though that was so he knew one thing he could give her and that was love, he loved her with all his heart and soul and would go to the ends of the earth for her if it meant he could make her smile.

As the months went by he tried to consume himself with his work, saving the helpless, hell he even started up a detective agency with Doyle and Cordelia but still he could not forget about her.

One night he had gone for a drive, something he did when he wanted to relax and free his mind of any thoughts. It wasn't until he had actually passed by the welcome sign that he realised he was in Sunnydale. He had somehow come back to her without even knowing it. Deciding it wouldn't hurt to just check up on her to see how she was doing he phoned Willow, swore her to secrecy as she told him where Buffy was. Apparently she was at some college party held in the dorms where she currently resided with the red headed witch. Nervous but determined he went.

Everything was so loud and noisy. College boys and girls were laughing, talking and busy having a good time. Angel made sure to stay hidden as best as he could without gaining attention from anyone. Of course that was easier said then down. A drunk young woman almost fell into his arms and began talking to him, he was not interested and tried to be polite by getting her to go away and leave him alone. That was when he saw her. She was over by the food beverages talking to some guy. She was smiling and looked so beautiful. Angel felt his heart ache as he forgot just how much of an effect she had on him. She was perfection and somebody he had missed terribly.

Watching her with the guy made Angel jealous he would not deny that but in a way he was glad that she had obviously moved on with her life without him around to make things harder for her. Satisfied he decided to spend the night at a hotel and then drive back home to LA the next night without Buffy ever knowing he was there. He was about to leave the party when a big, tough guy came up to him and shoved him hard in the shoulder.

"Stay away from my girl !" He yelled.

Great this was all he needed as he said he was sorry and he had no intention of being with his so called girl when things went from bad to worse.

"What ! Your saying my girl isn't good enough for you ?" Before Angel knew what was happening he had been punched hard in the face. Of course he was still standing and when the guy threw a second punch Angel was ready. Grabbing his hand he crushed it was his vampire strength.

"Now that really wasn't very nice." He said before smashing his forehead against the mortals sending the poor guy to the ground unconscious. By this time they had drawn attention to what was happening and a small crowd had gathered around to watch.
